Surfing and aloha are what we do and shaping surfboards is our passion.  Jud puts his mana and mana'o into every board that he creates.  Over 40 years of wave riding experience and more than 15 years of shaping surfboards have made this more than a hobby or a job, but a lifestyle.

Jud was born and raised on Maui, later obtaining his Bachelors degree in business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Jud was an avid competitor in amateur and local professional events throughout the 80s and 90s.  These experiences have given him an intimate relationship with the ocean combined with the necessary knowledge to create the ultimate wave riding vessels!

All boards are designed on our state of the art Shape3d CAD software program, milled on a state of the art CNC machine, and then hand finished by Jud.

We have a nice selection of new boards available at Hi-Tech Surf Sports in Kahului at 425 Koloa St.  On the west side check out Maui Surf Culture, 113 Prison St., where our boards are available to rent or purchase.

Our shop is located at the historic and iconic Pauwela Cannery in Haiku.  We have new and used surfboards available off the rack or order your own custom surfboard with dimensions and specs carefully tailored to your unique surfing style, height, weight, and wave type preferences!  Call or text 808 280-2749, or just come by for a visit!

Our logo represents the simplicity and connectedness that make surfing such a captivating endeavor and ultimately a way of life for so many.  All that is required are waves and a wave riding apparatus, and in the case of bodysurfing, even the board is not a necessity :)

So we have the waves on the left and right; and the surfers on the top and bottom, with their boards over their heads.  They are all flowing in a circle to show how they are all connected, and how everything always comes full circle...
